Apple Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. torn lettuce
    1 Gala apple, cored and chopped
    1 oz. (1/4 c.) shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. apple jelly
    1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. shelled sunflower seeds
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine lettuce, apple, cheese and sunflower seeds; toss gently.
    In small saucepan over medium heat, heat jelly and vinegar until melted, stirring frequently.
    Cook slightly. Pour over salad; toss to coat.
    Yields four 1-cup servings.
