Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    3 medium bananas (very ripe)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and gradually add sugar until all sugar is dissolved.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Mash bananas and add to the batter.
    Sift dry ingredients together and fold in (do not beat).
    Fold in finely chopped pecans.
    Bake in greased loaf pan for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
