Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes
    4 hot peppers (for hotter sauce, only 2 if mild)
    3 lb. chopped onions
    2 c. cooking oil
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1/2 c. salt
    2 Tbsp. basil
    1 c. sugar
    5 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste (use 6 if you want it thick)
Preparation
    Cook the first 3 ingredients 2 to 3 hours.
    Add the oil, oregano, salt, basil and sugar. Cook 1 hour, then add the tomato paste.
    Bring to a hard boil. Remove from heat. Can or freeze. Makes 11 quarts.
