Spicy Plantation Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 lb. chicken pieces or 1 fryer, cut up
    vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Preparation
    Combine egg, buttermilk and 1 tablespoon of oil.
    Sift together the flour, curry powder, salt and pepper.
    Blend flour mixture into the buttermilk mixture; beat until smooth.
    Dip chicken pieces into batter; drain.
    Cook batter chicken in deep 350\u00b0 oil for about 12 minutes or until chicken is done.
    Fried chicken recipe serves 4 to 6.
