Midnight Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk
2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream the sugar and shortening. Add cocoa, eggs and sour milk. Mix well. Add flour.
Mix. Add boiling water with baking soda and vanilla. Beat.
Go heavy on wet ingredients.
Light on dry ingredients. Bake 45 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0 in long pan or 8-inch.
