Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 lb. nuts, picked out and chopped
2 lb. dates, cut up
Preparation

Beat eggs
until
light.
Flour dates with 1 cup flour. Beat sugar and eggs together.
Add the 2 cups flour, then rest of ingredients.
If
you
don't
use enough nuts, use 2 tablespoons shortening.
Cook
at
275\u00b0 about 1 hour and 10 minutes if using 3 small pans.
Cook longer if using large pan.
