Chili - Wanda'S Way - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef (chili grind or chuck)
    2 c. dry pinto beans
    1 onion (medium to large)
    1/2 c. bell pepper or more to taste*
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies
    2 cans diced tomatoes
Preparation
    Soak and cook pinto beans until done, 3 to 4 hours.
    Brown chili grind or chuck (chili grind is better, or buy a roast and have them run it through the coarse grinder).
    Brown until the red is gone.
    Drain fat.
    Saute onion and bell pepper and cook 5 minutes.
    Drain.
