Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pure cane sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 to 6 small plain Hershey bars
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Heat over medium heat the first 4 ingredients, stirring constantly.
Cook until mixture turns amber colored and begins to emit a light smoke.
(This usually takes between 10 or 15 minutes.)
