Chinese Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. spareribs
    garlic salt
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. sherry
Preparation
    Sprinkle ribs with garlic salt (optional).
    Mix ingredients, coat
    ribs on both sides and put in glass pan to marinate overnight.
    Fill
    the bottom of a broiler pan with water, cover pan rack
    with
    aluminum
    foil
    and
    put
    ribs
    on rack.
    Cover loosely with
    foil,
    bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour per pound. Baste with sauce frequently.
    Towards end of cooking, remove covering foil.
