Peach Puff Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell
    2 c. sliced fresh peaches
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Cream the butter and 1/2 cup of the sugar; add beaten eggs gradually and then the grated lemon rind.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Put peaches into the pastry shell; sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Spread batter over the peaches and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Reduce the oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
