Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. applesauce
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1 small bottle cherries
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well; sift dry ingredients and add alternately with applesauce, mixing well.
Add nuts and raisins, which have been rolled in flour.
Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
I use a tube cake pan.
