Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. finely diced, pared raw apples (about 1 1/2 lb.)
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
