Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal (not a mix)
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. sweet or buttermilk
    dash of sugar
    Little pour of oil
Preparation
    Grease medium iron skillet and warm in oven as it preheats. Mix all ingredients together.
    Pour into hot pan.
    Bake
    at 425\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
    If you run out of eggs, you may substitute a heaping tablespoon of mayonnaise.
