Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Beat egg in mixer bowl until foamy.
    Add sugar; beat well. Add apples, pecans, flour, baking powder and vanilla; mix well. Pour into greased and floured 4 x 8-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Serve warm with whipped cream.
    Cake will rise to top of pan and fall, leaving a crusty top.

    12 servings.
