Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    head lettuce
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    1 container bacon bits
    grated cheese
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    1 bottle (16 oz.) Ranch dressing
Preparation
    Layer pinched up lettuce on bottom of 9 x 13-inch glass dish. Add layer of green peas.
    Slice onion and pepper into thin rings. Place layer of these on top of peas.
    Add layer of bacon bits and cheese.
    Just before serving, pour dressing on top in crisscross pattern.
