Ingredients

1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. Quaker oats (regular)
1/4 c. corn meal
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. canola oil
2 eggs, separated
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, oil and egg yolks and beat well. Slowly stir buttermilk mixture into dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
Beat egg whites and fold into batter.
Spoon dip batter into preheated waffle iron.
