Mom'S Jelly Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Add ingredients according to order of recipe.
    Spoon into greased muffin tins or paper liners.
    Place 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of any kind of jelly or jam on top of each muffin, pressing into batter.
    Try to bring batter over the top of jelly to cover it up.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until brown.
