Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    1 c. sliced green onions with tops
    2 green peppers, cut in strips
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 large tomatoes, cut in 8ths
    rice
Preparation
    Cut round steak into strips and brown in butter.
    Add garlic and beef broth.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Add green onion and green peppers.
    Cover and cook 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat, mix and cook until thick (2 minutes).
    Add tomatoes and stir gently.
    Serve over a bed of rice.
