Hot Asparagus Canapes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

20 slices bread (thin)
3 oz. pkg. Blue cheese
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
20 spears cooked asparagus
1/2 lb. melted butter
Preparation

Trim crust from bread and flatten with rolling pin slightly. Blend cheeses and egg to workable consistency, then spread on bread.
Place an asparagus spear on each slice and roll each, securing each with a toothpick.
Dip in melted butter so as to coat thoroughly.
Place on a cookie sheet and freeze.
Remove and slice into 3 equal sections.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
