Butter Riches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 unbeaten egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 to 2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Gradually add brown sugar and white sugar. Cream well.
    Add egg yolk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Blend in flour to form a stiff dough.
    Shape into small balls.
    Put on greased cookie sheets.
    Flatten to size of a 50 cent piece with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 to 9 minutes, until golden brown.
    Cool and frost with Browned Butter Frosting.
