No-Can Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium cucumbers
    1 onion
    1 red pepper or 1 jar pimentos
    1 green pepper
    1/4 c. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers, onion and peppers into a bowl.
    Add salt. Let stand for 3 hours or overnight.
    Rinse well.
    Make brine of vinegar and sugar; pour over pickles.
    Keep refrigerated.
    Store in any jar with rubber seal inside.
