Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large or 2 small cans chopped sauerkraut, washed and drained
    1 medium size jar pimentos, drained
    1 c. bell peppers, chopped
    2 c. celery, cut fine
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil the sugar, water and vinegar until thick and syrupy.
    Let cool and pour over kraut mixture.
    Stir several times.
    Let set overnight.
