Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. chili meat
    1 lb. suet
    2 medium onions
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 scant tsp. comino powder
    4 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. ground red pepper
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 jalapeno peppers
    3 c. water
    1 pt. tomato juice (optional)
Preparation
    Render suet until cream colored.
    Remove suet, leaving the liquid.
    Add meat; cook until lightly brown.
    Add onion and salt; cook 20 minutes on low heat.
    Add other ingredients and cook 1 hour or until meat is tender.
    Add water if needed or tomato juice.
