Calas(A Delightful Breakfast Treat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. flour
    3 heaping Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of nutmeg
    2 c. cooked rice
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Beat rice and eggs together;
    add dry ingredients.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot deep fat and fry until brown.
    Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Serve hot.
