Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
5 to 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, minced
1 large carrot, sliced
4 c. milk
3 to 4 slices cheese (Colby, Muenster, Monterey Jack)
cooked bacon, crumbled or bacon bits
1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
salt and pepper
Preparation

Boil vegetables in large pot until potatoes are tender (8 to 10 minutes).
Drain most of the water.
Melt butter in saucepan. Slowly add cornstarch while stirring until smooth.
Slowly add milk while stirring.
Melt cheese into white sauce.
Add bacon and spices.
Let simmer on low heat until vegetables are ready.
