Pickled Cocktail Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (4 oz.) cans button mushrooms
    1 c. white wine or cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 shredded bay leaf
    3 whole cloves
    3 whole black peppercorns
    1 clove garlic, sliced
    1 slice lemon
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, seasonings and mushroom liquid.
    Boil for 3 minutes.
    Turn off heat.
    Add mushrooms and place in a glass jar. Refrigerate overnight, but flavor improves if refrigerated for 1 to 2 weeks.
