Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    4 egg whites
    3/4 c. ripe bananas
    1 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until light.
    (Can use salad oil.) Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Stir in bananas.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to banana mixture.
    Mix until well blended.
    Pour into 2 (9-inch) pans sprayed with Pam.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Use any vanilla flavored white icing on this cake.
