Onion Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. warm tap water
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. room temperature whole milk
    3 c. thawed frozen chopped onion
    1/3 c. oil
    1 egg
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 tablespoon sugar and warm tap water in a large measuring cup.
    Meanwhile, measure dry ingredients.
    When yeast is dissolved, add measured dry ingredients, then add 5 cups flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Mix in enough remaining flour (3 cups) to make dough easy to handle.
    Turn dough on floured surface; knead until smooth.
    Place in greased bowl with enough oil to coat dough.
    Turn greased side up.
    Cover with plastic wrap; let rise until double in size.
    Punch down and refrigerate.
    Cover with plastic and foil.
