Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. skim evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients together.
    Cook until this reaches 236\u00b0 (soft ball).
    Remove from heat; let stand for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add last 3 ingredients; stir until creamy.
    Drop onto buttered wax paper.
    Let cool.
