Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    4 Tbsp. sweet milk
    2 large or 3 small bananas, mashed
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped fine
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add 1 egg at a time.
    Mix well. Add flour and milk, a little at a time, until all is mixed well. Add bananas and nuts.
    Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a tube pan.
