Old-Fashioned Bread Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    8 c. dry bread cubes
    3/4 to 1 c. chicken broth or water
Preparation
    In a saucepan, cook celery and onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
    Remove from heat and stir in poultry seasoning or sage, salt and pepper.
