Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 pt. fresh strawberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. water
1 cold baked pie shell
red food coloring
whipped topping

Preparation

Mix together sugar, cornstarch, water and food coloring.
Cook over low heat until clear and thick.
Stir in gelatin until dissolved, allow to cool.
Add fresh whole strawberries, pour into cold baked pie shell.
Top with whipped cream or serve with ice cream.
