Baked Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. elbow macaroni
28 oz. stewed tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
10 oz. grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese or more to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
Prepare elbow macaroni according to directions.
(Undercook a bit, since the macaroni will be baked with liquid later.)
Simmer stewed tomatoes and onion.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix macaroni, tomatoes, onion and most of the grated cheese.
(Save some to sprinkle as a topping.)
Season to taste. Pour mixture into baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. (Dot with margarine or butter, if desired.)
Bake approximately 1/2 hour until bubbles and golden brown.
