Ingredients

12 small beets, cooked
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
1 tsp. flour or 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch or flour.
Add vinegar, Wesson oil and water; boil for 5 minutes.
Add beets; let simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
