Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cranberries
2 c. sugar
1 grated orange rind
3 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. celery
1/2 apple
1/4 c. pineapple
1 large pkg. lemon Jell-O
1 Knox gelatine
Preparation

Grind cranberries.
If frozen, they grind easier.
(Measure after ground.)
Put in heavy saucepan with the following: sugar, orange rind and water.
Bring to boil and pour over Jell-O.
Add unflavored Knox gelatine, softened in 1/4 cup cold water.
When cool, add 1 cup chopped celery.
Stir once again and add 3/4 cup chopped nuts just before it sets.
Best if made 24 hours before serving.
Pour into a nice serving dish.
