Sky High Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine the first 5 ingredients.
    Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly.
    Add beaten egg and milk, stirring until just mixed.
    Knead briefly on lightly floured bread board.
    Roll or pat to about 1-inch thickness.
    Cut with round biscuit cutter.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
