Pear Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. peeled and sliced fresh pears
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
    butter or margarine
    pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Mix pear slices with sugar, rind, juice and spice.
    Arrange in a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover with top crust.
    Slit pastry to allow steam to escape.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 60 minutes.
