Polish Sausage And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sauerkraut, rinsed
    1 medium apple, chopped
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. caraway seeds, if desired
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. Polish sausage (or ring bologna)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except sausage in large skillet. Place sausage on top.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes until heated through.
    Weiners or smokie links can be used for the Polish sausage.
