Caramel Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

36 vanilla caramels
3 Tbsp. light cream (half and half)
1 c. corn flakes
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Place caramels and cream in double boiler.
Heat until caramels melt, stirring occasionally.
Toss together cereals, coconut and nuts.
Pour melted caramels over this, mixing thoroughly with buttered spoon.
Drop from spoon onto waxed paper or put in buttered pan.
Makes 2 dozen.
