Dolmathes(Stuffed Grape Leaves) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 jar grape leaves, soaked in warm water, drained and set aside
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck or regular hamburger
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. Uncle Ben's rice
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 stick butter, melted
Preparation

Mix together ground chuck, onion, tomatoes, salt, parsley, black pepper, rice and lemon.
Add to melted butter in pot that you are going to cook in.
Take 1 teaspoon of mixture and place in middle of grape leaf; fold sides over mixture and bring tip of grape leaf over.
Roll tightly and place in pot.
As you roll, place grape leaves in pot as close together as you can.
Continue until all mixture is used.
Usually it makes about 2 layers.
Add 3/4 cup water.
Invert a plate over Dolmathes.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Turn off and let stand for 15 minutes.
