Onions Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium yellow onions
1/2 c. beef broth (low salt)
2 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Slice onions into 1/2-inch thick rings.
Saut in butter until tender.
Place in greased 8-inch square baking dish.
In a bowl, stir the broth, cream, flour and pepper until smooth.
Pour over onions.
Sprinkle with the cheeses.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and mixture is bubbly.
Makes approximately 8 servings.
