Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. peeled and cubed Winesap or Rome apples
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a tube or Bundt pan.
Combine the oil, sugar and eggs in a large bowl.
Mix well. Combine the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the apples. Stir in the pecans and vanilla. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool for about 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Frost with your favorite caramel icing, if desired.
