Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs (separated & beaten)
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter (soften)
1 teaspoon sugar
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
Combine milk and egg yolks.
Add to flour mixture and beat.
Mix in butter.
Combine the frothy egg whites to mixture and mix well.
Pour enough to make a waffle into the waffle Iron.
Makes approximately 4 waffles.
Serve warm.
