Cornbread Stuffing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon (8 to 10 slices)
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. water
3 c. coarse cornbread crumbs
3 c. fine coarse cornbread crumbs
1/2 tsp. ground sage
1 c. chicken or turkey broth
Preparation

In skillet, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup drippings. Crumble bacon, reserving the onion and water. Cover. Cook until barely tender, about 7 minutes.
Combine reserved bacon drippings, vegetable mixture, cornbread crumbs, fine cornbread crumbs, ground sage and broth. Toss well. Bake, covered, in a 1 1/2-quart casserole at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes 8 servings or enough stuffing for an 8 pound turkey.
