Grandma Carter'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or other shortening
1/2 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cooked prunes
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together except soda.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla and oil to butter and sugar.
Mix soda with buttermilk.
Mix all ingredients.
Add cooked prunes.
Bake in a mold at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes.
