Jalapeno Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cooked and cooled rice
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix rice with sour cream and green chilies.
    In a 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish, layer 1/2 of the rice mixture and 1/2 of the cheese.
    Repeat, ending with cheese. Bake 30 minutes, covered, then remove lid and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
