Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
2 eggs (separate for meringue)
1 1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Heat 1 cup milk and 1 tablespoon butter.
Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks and 1/2 cup milk.
Gradually add heated milk and butter to mixture and cook until thick. Cool. Add the vanilla.
Pour into cooked pie shell. Cover with meringue and brown.
