Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Beat well.
    Add hot milk.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0 or until knife comes out clean when inserted into middle of pie.
