Hot Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 medium squash, sliced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. American or Velveeta cheese
    1 onion, chopped
    1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
    bread crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in butter and a little water until tender; drain.
    Add pepper and cheese and stir until cheese melts. Put in dish and top with bread crumbs.
    Heat in oven at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until browned.
