Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 large onion
    1 clove garlic
    3 carrots
    3 potatoes, diced
    1 c. celery
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 pt. chopped clams
    1 tsp. pepper
    flour (to thicken)
    1 can milk
Preparation
    Finely chop bacon, then fry.
    Remove bacon from drippings and set aside.
    Chop onion and garlic; fry until tender in bacon fat. In a large saucepan, heat clam juice with enough water to make 3 quarts of liquid, diced potatoes, diced celery, sliced carrots, onion, garlic, seasonings and clams.
    Add flour to thicken.
